The Super Vets’ Championship will be back in Swanage Bay this October, and will see some 400 competitors taking part.
The seasoned sea rowers will be taking to the water in this friendly competition, which spectators can watch from the promenade on Shore Road.
Hosted by Swanage Sea Rowing Club, the gig race is a traditional three-buoy turn course of 1.5 miles and is open to anyone aged 50 and over.
Come along on the day to watch and cheer the teams on – the finish line will be close to The Mowlem.

- Registration desk opens – 7.30am
- Race officials meeting (Banjo Pier) – 9.15am
- Coxwains’ meeting (Banjo Pier) – 9.30am
- First race – 10am
