Upcoming Events

What’s on this month: NOVEMBER 2025

The countdown to Christmas in Swanage begins this month with a range of family-friendly events to get you into the festive spirit.

Swanage’s Christmas Lights Switch-On is on Saturday 29th November and there are two new festive events on the Swanage Railway this year, including the Father Christmas Yuletide Express (29 Nov – 24 Dec).

Get your Christmas shopping in early at a range of winter gift fairs around Purbeck, such as the annual Artisans on the Beach event (22 Nov – 21 Dec), or make your own presents at a Christmas craft workshop.

Browse our Calendar for a day-by-day breakdown of everything that’s on this year. Alternatively, scroll down for an event-by-event breakdown of current & upcoming events.
