Swanage Skatepark Community Day

Swanage Skatepark Community Project is holding a special community day with free skateboard lessons, competitions, demonstrations and lots more.

It’s open to all ages and all wheels (roller skates, bikes, skateboards and scooters).

Whether you’re a complete beginner or experienced skater there’ll be something for you, including:

• Beginner skateboard lessons
• Workshops
• Pop-up skatepark
• Pro skateboard & BMX demos
• Competitions & prizes

• Entry: Free (donations toward new ramps welcome on the day – cash & card accepted)
• Refreshments: From Burnt Toast Dorset

Timings

• 12pm: Skateboard workshops hosted by top UK professionals (equipment provided)
• 1pm: Professional skateboard & BMX demos
• 1.20pm: Open practice session & ride with the pros
• 2.30pm: Skateboard/scooter/BMX competitions
• 4.30pm: Pro demos
• 4.50pm: Prize-giving
