Swanage Railway Footplate Ride

Ride the footplate (cab) of a steam locomotive on this special Swanage Railway experience.

Learn how the crew operates the loco of a passenger service and enjoy an hour-long journey from Swanage to Norden and back, with some great views of the Purbeck countryside along the way.

• Cost: £125 per person (includes all-day travel on the railway)
• Suitable for: Age 18+
• Clothing: Wear old clothes or overalls that cover arms and legs, and sturdy shoes
