Swanage Fish Festival

🗓️ Saturday 24th – Sunday 25th August 2024

Swanage Fish Festival will be held in August this year at the new venue of Sandpit Field.

The fish & food festival is a firm favourite in the town’s summer calendar – usually held at Prince Albert Gardens in June, it was postponed earlier this year due to bad weather.

  • Crispy chilli squid street food
  • Filleting & cooking demonstration by Julia Noone
  • Surf-n-turf paella at Swanage Fish Festival
  • Fresh crab by Swanage Bay Fish
  • Fresh lobster display

Enjoy browsing the food stalls and sampling the very best of Dorset fish, seafood and drink, all overlooking Swanage Bay. And learn some new tips and tricks with cookery demonstrations from local chefs.

And new for 2024 is the Little Fishes children’s area, with fishy-themed games, crafts, song and story time. Kids are encouraged to come in fancy dress!

This family-friendly festival is completely free to attend and will have live music at across the weekend.
