The Studland Swimrun is a new event for up to 160 runners and swimmers who’ll take on the swim/run challenge from Knoll Beach in Studland, to Durlston in Swanage and back.
There’ll be free hydration and nutrition along the route, prizes and medals, and free event photography.
The courses
- Short/intro distance: 6.4km run/2km swim
- Middle distance: 9.3km run/1.8km swim
- Long distance: 18.6km run/4.8km swim
- Long distance relay: 19km run/4.5km swim

Volunteer at the Swimrun
Get into the spirit on the day by marshalling or being part of the water safety team and receive a Salt Pig packed lunch and a free t-shirt as a thank you.
Marshals are needed to keep runners on track along the route and the kayak water safety volunteer team keep an eye on anyone potentially struggling in the water.
You’ll need to be available from mid-morning through the afternoon.
