Dark-Ages reenactment group SÆXIA is holding a free Saxon Experience Day in Swanage today.
In addition to a small Anglo-Saxon encampment and living history display, you’ll be able to try out the following activities:
- Axe-throwing
- Archery
- Early medieval cookery and bushcraft
- Timings: 10am – 4pm (approx)
- Venue: Swanage Golf Games/Kirkwood Park
