RNLI Lighthouse Loop Trail Run AUGUST 2026

Swanage’s annual Lighthouse Loop – part of Swanage Lifeboat Week – will once again be part of the Purbeck Trail Series of running races.

Anvil Point Lighthouse at Durlston Country Park

The multi-terrain race has some challenging hills and panoramic views of Swanage Bay and Durlston, with the course starting at Peveril Point (Swanage Lifeboat Station), heading along the coast to Anvil Point Lighthouse, and back to the lifeboat station.

  • Race length: 5k
  • Race start point: RNLI Swanage Lifeboat Station, Peveril Point Road, BH19 2AY

Timings

  • 6pm: Registration
  • 7pm: Race start
