Join Swanage in remembering the services of the Armed Forces and their families at the town’s annual church service and parade.
Timings
(Timings TBC)
- 1.45pm: Parade to meet on Shore Road
- 2pm: Parade – The parade will march from The Mowlem toward St Mary’s Church
- 2.30pm: Church service – Service of remembrance at St Mary’s Church
- 3.30pm/4pm: Wreath-laying – After the service, process through town to the war memorial where wreaths are laid (about 4pm)
- 5pm: Swanage RBL – Refreshments and more at the Legion from 5pm as part of the Legion’s Poppython fundraiser
