Remembrance Day Service & Parade 2023

Join Swanage in remembering the services of the Armed Forces and their families at the town’s annual church service and parade.

Timings

  • 1.45pm/2pm: Parade – Meeting on Shore Road at 1.45pm, the parade will march from The Mowlem at 2pm toward St Mary’s Church
  • 2.30pm: Church service – Annual service of remembrance at St Mary’s
  • 4pm: Wreath-laying – After the service, process through town to the war memorial where wreaths are laid (about 4pm)
  • 5pm: Swanage RBL – Refreshments and more at the Legion from 5pm as part of the Legion’s Poppython fundraiser
