Save the date for a summer performance at The Mowlem by Swanage-based Ranger School of Dance.
It will be the first full-school show in 20 years, with a cast of 80 performers, ranging from aged three to adult.
Showtime will feature a specially-devised work from James Lovell, a principal dancer with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures theatre company.
- Act One: Follow main character Agnes on her journey to a happier life in this magical story about a toy shop. There’ll be familiar characters and new friends along the way, with elements of much-loved stories to look out for, including Cinderella, Mary Poppins and Toy Story
- (20-minute interval)
- Act Two: And for something completely different, Showtime’s second act features big production song & dance favourites in a gala-style performance from the dance school’s children, older students and adults
Performance times
Showtime will run for four days, with a matinee on the Saturday.
