Rang Barse – Colours Over Corfe Castle

Celebrate Rang Barse – the Holi festival of colours – at Corfe Castle.

The festival celebrates the coming of love, spring and new life with a traditional throwing of coloured powders.

There will be a range of food stalls selling Indian cuisine and a Bollywood DJ providing entertainment.

  • Cost: Free, with free entry to the castle today
  • Timings: 12pm – 5pm

This Rang Barse event at Corfe Castle received a special commendation at the 2024/25 Dorset Tourism Awards in the category of Tourism Event/Festival of the Year.

If you’d like to join in with the fun it’s recommended to wear white clothing.

Dedicated biodegradable colour pigments for visitors to use will be provided on the day – please do not bring your own.

This event is being organised by the BPC Indian Community in collaboration with the National Trust.
