This year’s Planet Purbeck Festival is condensed into three key days of free events.
The family-friendly festival celebrates Purbeck’s coastal and countryside environment through live music, art, film, talks, local food and produce stalls, wellbeing workshops and fun kids’ activities.
It aims to enhance the natural world of the Isle of Purbeck by raising awareness and promoting sustainable initiatives to tackle climate change at a local level to protect the area’s biodiversity.
The festival is a great way to find out what local initiatives you can get involved in and a way of meeting like-minded people.
Outside of the festival, Planet Purbeck also holds regular events throughout the year and encourages anyone to get involved and support the movement.

Festival Fair
A hub of information, fun and games by the seaside.
The festival’s annual fair showcases a range of various groups and organisations all doing their bit to look after Swanage and Purbeck – all of which you can either support or get actively involved in.
Browse the stalls, play some games, try out a new activity and relax to some live music whilst enjoying locally-produced food – all in the beautiful setting of Swanage’s promenade with views across the bay.
