Park to Pier Walk JUNE 2025

Join a Durlston ranger on a gentle guided walk from the country park to Swanage Pier.

Discover Durlston’s history as you stroll, before being joined by a Jurassic Coast volunteer to learn about the bay’s special geology and wildlife.

Once you reach the pier there’s the chance to hear a history talk from one of Swanage Pier’s volunteers.

The walk lasts around an hour-and-a-half and includes hills and some steps

  • Adults: £5
  • Children: £3
  • Timings: Meet at Durlston Castle at 10.30am
  • No booking required, just turn up
