Music at Swanage Bandstand 2026

Enjoy another exciting programme of band music at Swanage’s bandstand this spring and summer season.

Bring a picnic, blanket or camping chair, or take a seat in the tiered amphitheatre, and soak up the sunshine and atmosphere as you listen to some live music at this historic spot overlooking Swanage Bay.

Performances are free to attend – donations to support the band are welcome.

Please note: Performances are weather-dependent.

In case of rain, Swanage Town Band will play at Swanage Methodist Church (BH19 2LZ), starting 30 minutes later.

Swanage Town Band

Our very own Swanage-based band has over 40 members.

They rehearse weekly on a Wednesday evening, with conductor John Watkins.
