Music at Swanage Bandstand

Enjoy a full programme of music at Swanage’s bandstand this spring and summer season.

Bring a picnic, blanket or camping chair, or take a seat in the tiered amphitheatre, and soak up the sunshine and atmosphere as you listen to some live music at this historic spot overlooking Swanage Bay.

• Saturday 20^th July: Devizes Town Band, 1pm – 3pm
• Sunday 21^st July: Wareham Town Band, 2pm – 4pm
• Wednesday 24^th July: Swanage Town Band, 7pm – 8.30pm (**CANCELLED due to rain forecast)**
• Thursday 1^st August: Swanage Town Band, 7pm – 8.30pm
• Saturday 10^th August: Wareham Town Band, 2pm – 4pm
• Saturday 17^th August: Swanage Town Band, 2pm – 4.30pm

Swanage Town Band

Our very own Swanage-based band – with over 40 members, they rehearse weekly on a Wednesday evening, with conductor John Watkins.

The Durnovaria Silver Band is based in Dorchester and was founded in 1936.

New members of all abilities and ages are always welcome to join – tuition is free and instruments are provided.
