Come along to a historical talk in Langton entitled ‘Life, Death and Feasting at Football Field, Worth Matravers’.
The talk will be given by archaeologist and Bournemouth University visiting fellow Lilian Ladle.
Lilian will discuss the small site in Worth where there is archaeological evidence from Neolithic times, through Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman times.
Examples from the area give a fascinating insight into the lives of the people who lived here and include animal and human bone, pottery, metalwork and stone.
