Love It Local – a Purbeck & Wareham-wide initiative supporting local businesses, shoppers and community groups – is holding its first ever Food & Drink Festival.
Set in the Outer Bailey of Corfe Castle, it’ll be a fantastic opportunity to sample some of the area’s very best food and drink, and to meet the people behind the businesses.
The two-day festival, held in association with the National Trust, will showcase locally-produced meat, vegetables, baked goods and pies, as well as a range of sauces, honey, chutneys and preserves.
There’ll also be a great range of drinks on offer, including local wines, beers, ciders and spirits, and live music across the weekend.
- Timings – 10am – 5.30pm
- Cost – Free (normal castle admission charges apply)

With 30 stalls at the festival there’ll be something to suit every palate, including:
- Watercress pesto
- Gourmet toasties
- Fun burgers
- Hand-crafted cakes
- Local Indian cuisine
- Artisan breads
- Exotic sauces
- Sweet treats including ice cream, fudge & chocolate brownies
