The Boxing Day Swim on Swanage Beach is an annual community tradition, which sees dozens of swimmers head to the water for a fun, festive dip.
Fancy dress isn’t compulsory, but there are prizes up for grabs for the best Christmas costume.
The Swanage Boxing Day Swim is also a great way to support local charity #WillDoes, which has organised the swim for the last few years.

- Entry: Free (Donations kindly welcomed)
- Location: Meet on the beach outside The Mowlem
And if shoreside spectating is more your thing, there’ll be hot drinks and mince pies to enjoy whilst you watch the madness ensue.
Land & Wave will be in attendance to oversee the event’s safety aspects.

Set up in memory of William Paddy, a local lad with a passion for animals and sports who sadly passed away at the age of 14, the charity holds various events throughout the year, raising funds to help support young people who might be finding life hard.
