Enjoy an evening of music at St Mary’s Church with the Belvedere Singers this spring.
The local choir’s May Melodies concert will feature pieces by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Arthur Sullivan, Eric Whitacre, Gerald Finzi, Aaron Copeland and George Frederic Handel.
They’ll also be joined by local violinist Sally Aiko Dando, who is currently studying at the Royal College of Music. She will be performing Boulanger’s Nocturne, Introduction and Tarantella by Sarasate, and Czardas by Monti.

There will be a retiring collection in aid of the Besom in Purbeck, a local service which supports people in the area escaping poverty and domestic abuse, or who are facing homelessness.

Rehearsals take place on Tuesday evenings during term time at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Victoria Avenue.
