Following this morning’s Armed Forces Covenant-Signing and Bandstand celebration event, there will be a further commemoration at Swanage war memorial.
There will be reflections by Swanage Army Link’s Frank Roberts, a tribute from Councillor Tina Foster and a speech by Major Grant Powell, OC of 3 (Harrogate) Sqn.
Then follows the unveiling of commemorative benches and a symbolic tree-planting ceremony.
