Head to the Square & Compass in Worth tonight as The Rudes return with their latest outdoor performance, The Wife.
Join the touring theatre company’s Alyson of Bath and co. on the road to Canterbury as she extols the virtues – or not – of her five husbands, “an expert in the art of love, with plenty to say and no intention of holding her tongue.”
Described as a “hilarious and beautiful poetic romp of word, wit and song”, The Wife is inspired by Chaucer’s Wife of Bath in The Canterbury Tales and is an original musical play by The Rude Mechanical Theatre Company.
