Brand new for 2025 at The Mowlem is its monthly comedy club, featuring artists from across the UK.

Presented by Off The Kerb Productions, comedy nights will showcase both established and rising comedy stars.

Mark Olver: Make Olver is a stand-up comedian and regular television warm-up act on shows such as Deal or No Deal and Ready Steady Cook, and has appeared on 8 out of 10 Cats and The Vicar of Dibley
Mike Cox: Mike Cox is a regular across the UK’s comedy club scene and has won two comedy awards, including South Coast Comedian of the Year
Jamie D’Souza: A finalist and shortlisted comedian at various prestigious comedy awards, Jamie D’Souza’s comic short stories and one-liners cover topics such as veganism, becoming an adult and his mixed race heritage

James Ellis: 2021 South Coast Comedian of the Year & BBC New Comedy Award regional finalist
Andy Askins: Performing comic songs & parodies at comedy clubs & corporate events around the country
Meryl O’Rourke: Frankie Boyle tour support, Have I Got News for You writer & Big Talk writing prize winner

Andrew White: The stand-up comedian and comedy writer has written for the likes of Mock the Week and Newsjack, as well as supporting top comedy acts
Jarred Christmas: Award-winning Jarred Christmas has made several appearances on shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Mock the Week and Celebrity Mastermind
Sally-Anne Hayward: A regular compere at Glastonbury Festival, Sally-Anne Hayward has also appeared at various Edinburgh Fringe shows and supported top comedians including Sarah Millican, Russell Howard and Russell Kane
