Join the team from the Ancient Technology Centre at Corfe Castle this weekend and learn all about medieval swords – from how they were made to the art of swordsmanship.
You’ll get a chance to have a go with special safety swords at this historical experience for the whole family in the grounds of the castle.

- Timings: 10am – 4.30pm
The Ancient Technology Centre is based in Cranborne in Dorset, where you can visit their experimental archaeology and historical skills education site, with its Stone Age through to Viking replica buildings, at certain times throughout the year.
They’ll be running a prehistory weekend, Dark Ages weekend and Apple weekend at their site in 2025.
