There’s a range of volunteering opportunities with local organisations, with both ad hoc and regular opportunities, available.
These include:
- Art workshop assistant/marketing
- Communicare driver
- A range of roles at Durlston Country Park
- Library activities coordinator
- Fundraising/marketing for local festivals & events and Rotary initiatives
- Patient surveys & health awareness events
- And many more

Swanage Volunteer Bureau is an initiative formed of several organisations including Swanage & Purbeck Development Trust, Swanage Library, Swanage Town Council, Swanage Railway, the Partnership for Older People Programme and Volunteer Centre Dorset.
