🗓️ Sunday 14th July – Sunday 8th September 2024
Settle down on the sand for one of the UK’s oldest full-time seaside summer Punch & Judy shows – going strong since 1904!
Join Professor Joe Burns as he manages the mischief behind the traditional Punch & Judy booth on Swanage Central Beach.
With three shows a day throughout the summer – plus special evening performances – you’re sure to catch the classic puppet show while you’re here.
Bring a beach picnic or grab a seaside snack from one of the nearby ice-cream and coffee huts to enjoy while you watch the show.
Bucket & Spade List Nomination for 2024
Swanage Punch & Judy has been nominated for the 2024 Bucket & Spade List for Britain’s top seaside experiences!
It’s among 20 other contenders across the British coast.
The competition is a Seaside Heritage Network initiative, which aims to celebrate, nurture a sense of pride in, and help protect Britain’s historic seaside resorts.
‘It’s an eclectic list, which just goes to show the variety and geographical spread of Britain’s wonderful seaside heritage.
We’re asking people to get behind their favourite nomination to help promote and protect the things that make our seaside distinctive.’
DR. KATHRYN KERRY – Founder Member of the Seaside Heritage Network
Voting opens on Monday 1st July and closes on 31st August.
