Swanage Jazz Club is holding another evening of live music at the Isle of Purbeck Golf Club tonight, with south London-based band The Soul Immigrants and their Night of Soul and Funk Classics.
They’ll be performing hits by soul and funk legends including James Brown, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.
The group’s current single Blame it on the End Game has been recently featured on Jazz FM And BBC6 Music, and BBC Radio 5 Live describes them as “Undoubtedly one of the finest funk bands this country has ever produced”.
