Shore Runners is a mini fun run just for kids.
Head to Swanage seafront to sign up and see how fast you can run up to a mile along Shore Road.
There are categories for children as young as three up to age 12.
The route is traffic-free and fully-marshalled, with different lengths for each age group.
Shore Runners’ aim is to inspire an interest in being active amongst young people – all abilities are welcome.

Age 3 – 5 years

- Start: Walrond Road
- Finish: The Mowlem
- Children must be accompanied
Age 6 – 8 years
- Race length: 0.5 miles
- Start: The Bull & Boat/Ocean Bay
- Finish: The Mowlem
Ages 9 – 12 years
- Race length: 1 mile
- Start: The Mowlem (to the Bull & Boat/Ocean Bay)
- Finish: The Mowlem
