Come and meet Percy the Plesiosaur and his friend Oly Rush – part of charity Project Planet Earth – on Swanage Beach.
Watch world record-breaking swimmer Oly take Percy for regular swims in the sea and chat to the team who’ll be based outside The Mowlem.
Made entirely from reclaimed and found plastic items that have washed up on the beach, Percy aims to raise awareness of plastic pollution in our seas.
Percy’s creator Glenn Martin is an eco-artist from the Isle of Wight – he used 600 plastic bottles, along with fishing nets and other washed-up items to make the sculpture.
