Sandy Hill Arts in Corfe Castle is holding a brand new outdoor music event this June to celebrate the summer solstice.

Sounds by the Castle will welcome the start of summer with an intimate, mini festival vibe – expect live music, DJ, food and bar.

Enjoy a great line-up of local and regional emerging folk, jazz and electronic talent before watching the sun set over the castle ruins in the distance.

  • Timings: 4.30pm – 9.30pm

Line-Up

  • 4.30pm – 9.30pm: We Broke Free (DJ couple providing sets throughout)
  • 5pm: Molly Dunne (Solstice storytelling from the ‘Bard of Dorchester’)
  • 5.30pm: The Daisy Chains (Bournemouth-based indie/folk band)
  • 6.30pm: Bel Maude (From Poole, Bel is a songwriter, producer & pianist and BBC Introducing Solent Artist of the Week)
  • 7.30pm: South Street (Poole-based singer/songwriter)
  • 8.30pm: Design Fault (Art-rock trio from Bournemouth)
