Join mountaineer Simon Yates in an epic tale of survival in his talk at The Mowlem this evening.
His book, Touching The Void, which has been made into a film and stage play, reveals the terrifying moments when Yates and his partner were injured on a remote mountain adventure in Peru in 1985.
Still exploring and climbing, Simon has many stories to tell of his expeditions, which have taken him from the Arctic to the Antarctic and Alaska to Central Asia.
The talk will be accompanied by images and film from his explorations.
