Celebrating the ‘silver’ members of the community, Silver Saturday is an annual afternoon of tea, cake and entertainment held especially for Swanage and Purbeck’s older contingent.
Hosted by Swanage & Purbeck Rotary, the event coincides with the charitable organisation’s birthday each year, so it’s a double celebration and a great opportunity to be amongst good company and have a bit of fun.
Silver Saturday will kick off at 2.30pm at Swanage Baptist Church on Victoria Avenue. It’s free to attend, although a donation is always welcome (proceeds to local charities).
