Swanage Repair Café is back at Herston village hall after a summer break, on the last Saturday of the month.
Bring your broken items for repair, meet some friendly faces and help reduce landfill waste.
Examples of items you can bring include clothing, fabric and small household items.
There will also be refreshments, including tea, coffee and cake.
- Timings: 10.30am – 12.30pm (last repairs at 12.15pm)

How does it work?
The repair cafe is completely free, but you’re welcome to leave a donation.
- Please bring just one item per person
- Volunteer fixers have around 20 minutes per repair while you wait
- Just turn up on the day, or get in touch beforehand to let the team know what you’d like repaired, either via Facebook or email: repaircafepurbeck.chair@proton.me
Can you be a volunteer fixer?
Repair Café Swanage & Purbeck is looking for new volunteer fixers, so if you’re able to bring your skills (electronics, jewellery, ornaments, toys etc) come and join a friendly, local team.
No regular commitment needed – any time you can offer is welcome.
