🗓️ Thursday 25th January 2024
Planet Purbeck is presenting an exclusive screening of their film Purbeck – Let’s Go Wild in Worth Matravers.
This short (30 mins) film, created by wildlife filmmaker Sue Western (Netflix, BBC & David Attenborough), is a celebration of the natural world of the Isle of Purbeck and features local voices, including many young people and children who give their take on all things Purbeck.
Hear how the younger generation engages with nature and what our landscape means to them.
In addition, the Wild Purbeck Partnership will be giving a talk on some new plans for the future of our local coast and countryside.
And you’ll also be able to sample for free some local venison stew or Quorn coconut curry.
- Start time – 7.30pm
- Venue – Worth Matravers village hall
- Cost – Free
The film has recently toured all the primary schools in the area after its sell-out premiere at The Mowlem last year.
