Purbeck Goes Wild’s winter activity schedule is out – find a range of free family events for Purbeck-based children and their families.
You’ll get to discover the secret world of ponds, join in on a family ‘scrub-bashing’ at Durlston and play some outdoor wild games.
Plus, there’s a chance to get creative on a fun treasure hunt, using what you’ve found to make your own ‘green hearts’.

- Monday 2nd February: Pond & Minibeast Detectives: Lesson House, Langton Matravers, 3.30pm – 5pm
- Saturday 7th February: Storm Walk with Alex: Meet at Knoll Beach Discovery Centre, Studland 10am – 11.30am
- Monday 16th February: Wild at Heart: Tiny treasure hunt, ‘green heart crafting’ & refreshments at the village hall. Meet at St Nicholas’ Churchyard, Worth Matravers, 10am – 11.30am
- Tuesday 17th February: – Funky Fungi Walk: Wild Games & Family Scrub Bashing, 10am – 12.30pm
- Saturday 14th March: Little Hands, Wild Sands Family Litter-Pick: Meet at Knoll Beach Discovery Centre, Studland 10am – 1pm
