Get into the festive spirit and help raise funds for charity at the annual Purbeck Christmas Tree Festival.
Theme for 2025: Christmas Around the World.
Held each year at Emmanuel Baptist Church, trees are decorated by individuals, groups and organisations in the community, with donations and sponsorship proceeds going to the church’s nominated charities, which this year are: Julia’s House and Dorset Air Ambulance.
There will be children’s activities, seasonal live music and refreshments in the church café.
- Timings: 10am – 6pm
- Entry: Free (Donations welcome for this year’s chosen charities)
The Purbeck Christmas Tree Festival ends with Lights of Love – a special service of remembrance at Emmanuel Church on Sunday 14th December at 4pm.

Programme
The programme for 2025 is to be announced, but each year there is a range of activities and live music to enjoy.
Highlights from last year include:
- Children’s story & song time amongst the Christmas trees
- Belvedere Singers, Harmony Rocks, All Sort’d, Local Vocals & Singing for Pleasure choirs
- Ukulele and handbells performances

- Christmas carol singalong
