The ever-popular annual Pumpkin & Beer Festival at The Square in Worth Matravers is back – with its much-loved vegetable monster and scarecrow competitions.

In addition to an array of home-grown pumpkins of all shapes, sizes and varieties, there’ll also of course be a fantastic range of UK beers, ales and ciders to sample, along with live music into the evening.

The Pumpkin & Beer Festival is free to attend.

Competitions

Fun for the whole family to get involved in – with prizes to be won in each category:

  • Pumpkin Weigh-In – Bring your home-grown pumpkin or cheer on the growers of a range of pumpkin varieties
  • Vegetable Monster Competition – Choose your favourite veggies and construct the most weird and wonderful beastie you can imagine
  • Build a Scarecrow – Create a scarecrow friend from whatever you can find at home
