Pop-Up on the Hill

đŸ—“ïž Thursdays – Sundays in the summer

Enjoy great local food, live music and stunning scenery at the Isle of Purbeck’s seasonal Pop-Up on the Hill.

Each Thursday to Sunday throughout the summer, the pop-up hosts a range of small businesses serving locally-produced food and craft beverages, along with regular bands performing, too.

  • The Rum Life pop-up bar
  • Pop-Up on the Hill sign at Grange Hill
  • Outdoor seating at the Isle of Purbeck Pop-Up-On -The-Hill
  • Andy Oldfield playing with The Life of Riley band

Located just off the Purbeck Hills’ pathway, Pop-Up on the Hill is a welcome stop on a day’s hike as well as a destination in its own right.

The site’s equipped with outdoor, upcycled seating, but you’re welcome to bring your own rug or camping chairs to relax and have a drink, or simply order a takeaway for your walk.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead (note that there may be livestock in nearby fields).

It’s free to enter and you can check out which traders will be there when you visit by following Pop-Up on the Hill’s Instagram page: www.instagram.com/popuponthehill/

If you continue on the path you’ll come to the curious 18th Century folly Grange Arch, and nearby is the abandoned Tyneham ‘ghost’ village.
