The 2001 hit musical Moulin Rouge (12A), starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor is showing at The Blue Pool tonight as part of the Purbeck Film Festival’s Cinema Under the Stars programme of open air screenings.
The romance, directed by Baz Lurhman, is set in Paris and sees McGregor’s poet Christian fall for Kidman’s Satine – cabaret star of the Moulin Rouge.
There’ll be a licensed bar, with hot food also available to purchase.
