Corfe Castle’s Little Gardeners: Plant a Sunflower

Get green-fingered in Corfe by planting your very own sunflower.

You’ll receive an eco-plant pot in which to sow your seed, which you can take home with you and watch it grow.

This nature-based activity will run between Tuesday 27th – Friday 30th May only, from 10am – 4pm.

Family Quest: Flight of the Castle

Learn all about the bird life that lives in the castle ruin in the Flight of the Castle family quest.

It’s inspired by a nature book written by Anna Wilson and illustrated by Carolina Rabei.

Find all the quest boards to earn your prize.

  • Timings: Daily between 10am – 4.30pm

Artisan Crafts

Watch demonstrations of heritage crafts, including stone and wood-carving, and wattle & daub, in the castle’s outer bailey.

  • Fridays till December: 10am – 2pm

And, if you visit the castle on Monday 26th May you can enjoy a traditional May fair, organised by the village.
