Trebuchet-Loosening Demonstrations
Learn about the history of trebuchets and watch as a replica medieval siege engine loosens its missile.

Demonstrations begin at:

- (Except Monday 27th May due to the Corfe Castle village fair taking place in the castle grounds)
Corfe Castle’s Little Gardeners: Plant a Sunflower
Get green-fingered in Corfe by planting your very own sunflower.
You’ll receive an eco-plant pot in which to sow your seed, which you can take home with you to watch it grow.

Tuesday 28th – Friday 31st May at:
- 10am – 11.30am
- 1pm – 2.30pm
Keeper of the Castle: Storytelling Tours
Enjoy a fascinating guided tour of the castle and learn about its different roles over the years – from fortress to family home.
Timings
Tours begin at:
- 11am
- 12.30pm
- 2pm
- 3.30pm
Tour length: approx 45 minutes
Rooted in the Ruins: Family Quest
Discover the castle’s flora and fauna in this fun family quest that will have you exploring with the help of a trail sheet – jot down your answers as you go to earn your special Conservation Coin at the end.
- Daily between 10am – 5.30pm
Artisan Crafts
Watch demonstrations of heritage crafts, including stone and wood-carving, and wattle & daub, in the castle’s outer bailey.
