Wander through magical illuminated woodland trails at The Blue Pool’s annual winter Illuminate event.

As well as colour-changing lights amongst the trees, expect atmospheric music and brand new elements for 2026.

The Illuminate trail runs for over 1km and culminates at the nature reserve’s tea rooms where you can cosy up inside for a drink or bite to eat, or outside on the terrace around a fire pit – marshmallows for toasting can be purchased in the tearoom.

The Art Deco tearoom has a licensed bar and will be serving hot food.

Warm clothing, suitable footwear and torches for any unlit sections are advised.

Dogs on leads are welcome.

Timings

  • Every Friday – Sunday between 10th January – 8th February: 4.30pm, 5.15pm or 6pm
  • Every day between 13th February – 22nd February: 5.30pm, 6.15pm or 7pm

Tickets

Tickets should be booked in advance (early bird discounts available) – there are allocated time slots in order to avoid congestion on the paths to make your experience more enjoyable.
