The Dorset County Show is a major date in the county’s agricultural calendar, with loads packed into this two-day event.
It’s held each year as a way of celebrating rural life in Dorset as well as the end of the harvest season.
With some 6,000 exhibits including livestock, artisan food & drink, and family-friendly entertainment, there’s plenty to keep you busy all weekend (day & ‘taster’ tickets available).
The showground is located just outside Dorchester and includes loads of family-friendly activities including:

There’s also a large food and crafts marquee, showcasing some of the best local produce, as well as children’s fairground rides and entertainment.
