The RSPB at Arne is offering the chance for visitors to get to know more about the fascinating world of birds through a weekend of conservation talks, guided walks, bird-ringing demonstrations and binocular and scope sessions.
There’ll also be cider and gin-tasting and a chance to sample a range of delicious locally-sourced food including pies, pasties and sausage baps.

Saturday 21st September
- 8am – 10am: Bird-ringing demonstration (booking essential)
- 10.30am: Birds of Arne talk, with RSPB senior site manager
- 12pm – 2pm: Behind the Scenes guided walk
- 12pm: The Poole Harbour Osprey Project talk, by Brittany Maxted
- 1.30pm: Inspiring the Next Generation talk, with Mya Bambrick
Sunday 22nd September
- 8am – 10am: Bird-ringing demonstration (booking essential)
- 10am – 12pm: Behind the Scenes guided walk (booking essential)
- 10.30am: Inspiring the Next Generation talk, by Mya Bambrick
- 12pm: Wild Woodbury: 3 years of re-wilding talk, by Daisy Meadowcroft
- 1.30pm: Isle of Wight White-Tailed Eagle Reintroduction Project. A talk by Imogen Lloyd
- 3pm: Birds of Poole Harbour: Inspiring Hope for Nature talk, with Sam Ryde
