What is a Community Connector?

Anyone can be a Community Connector – it’s all about helping friends, family and neighbours to access support that they might not know is out there.

There’s no set amount of hours or commitment and no experience is necessary – you just need to introduce yourself to the Focus Centre in Swanage and be available to listen or chat and help spread the word.

Once you’ve met the Wellbeing Swanage team, you’ll receive a supply of handy cards, which can help signpost people to the services or support they might need.

And if you have any ideas of your own where gaps could be filled in Swanage, this ‘small, local charity with big ideas’ is keen to hear from you.
