Come along to a family fun day at Knoll Beach in Studland today to celebrate World Ocean Day.
There’ll be a big beach clean party, plus lots of of other fun activities including:
- Scavenger hunt
- Sand table treasure search
- Poster competition
- Meet Percy the Plesiosaur (made from beach-clean plastics!)
- Meet ‘human fish’ Oly Rush (he swam around the Isle of Wight in just 15 hours)
- Timings: 10.30am – 3pm (Big beach clean at 12.30pm)
- Entry: Free (Normal parking charges apply)

The Clean & Green Family Day is a partnership event between Project Planet Earth, Planet Purbeck and National Trust Studland Bay.
Studland Bay Marine Partnership will also be there and amongst all the beachy fun you can learn some cool facts too – like how Studland’s seagrass helps to support nature recovery beneath the waves.
