Take a rare glimpse inside Kimmeridge’s Clavell Tower at its free, annual open day.
The Tuscan-style circular folly was built in 1830 and is situated on the South West Coast Path, and is a short drive from Swanage.

Information leaflets on the building’s history and children’s activity sheets will be available.
Currently a holiday let with The Landmark Trust, the tower is a steep climb from Kimmeridge Bay, with panoramic sea and countryside views.

- Parking: On the Smedmore Estate, £6 for the day, which also give you access to Kimmeridge Bay
- Accessibility: Access is on foot only and up a steep, often uneven hill path
Clavell Tower is being opened this weekend in association with the Heritage Open Days Festival.
