Come along to a free taster session with Swanage-based choir The Belvedere Singers.
The choir is starting back for its autumn term on Tuesday 3rd September, with regular weekly rehearsals continuing for the year during term time.
You’ll be rehearsing pieces chosen by the choir’s music director Clive Watkiss for The Belvedere Singers’ Christmas concert, which will be held on Saturday 14th December, where you’ll be performing a mix of seasonal songs and traditional Christmas carols.
Your first two sessions are free and there’s no obligation to join.
The Belvedere Singers is a fun, friendly group, which is always on the lookout for new singers of all abilities – there are no auditions and no choral experience is necessary; just a desire to sing and have a good time.
Rehearsals are two hours long, with a short break in the middle for refreshments and socialising, so new members will feel very welcome quite quickly.

Membership
If you decide to join The Belvedere Singers after your taster sessions, membership is paid termly.
Subs are £75 for the autumn term, which works out at £5 per week.
The choir performs two main concerts a year – one in December and one in May.
Both are held at St Mary’s Church and feature a variety of music including folk songs, operatic choruses, religious pieces and popular songs from stage and screen.
