Former war correspondent and author Damien Lewis is back at The Mowlem this evening, discussing the fascinating true stories behind his latest book, SAS Great Escapes Four.
Hear the gripping accounts of WWII heroes as they escape Italian prisoner of war camps and make perilous journeys across the Netherlands, Belgium and France, aided by resistance networks.
Damien is a renowned World War Two historian, war reporter and bestselling author, and many of his books have been made into movies, plays and TV drama series – and he’s here at The Mowlem tonight to share how he has worked closely with veterans and their families to retell their stories.
