🗓️ Saturday 12th September 2026
It’s harvest time at Dorset Cider Farm – head down to enjoy a BBQ, live music, family games and apple & cider tasting throughout the day.

See the apple trees in full fruit and the cider press up and running, plus learn all about the farm’s apples from a local apple expert.

Plus, you can bring your own apples or pears to the Cider Farm’s first ever community pressing event: Do you have apple trees bearing more fruit than you know what to do with? If so, bring them along and trade your fruit for tokens to either donate or to use in the shop.
Then, see your fruit become part of a small batch of bespoke cider made from the fruit provided by the community.

And if you’re not sure what type of apple tree is in your garden, the on-hand apple expert with help you identify your apples.

- Timings: 10m – 5pm (TBC)
- Entry: Free
The 2025 Apple Day event saw over 4,000 apples donated, with 127 different apple varieties identified and over 150 pints served.
And proceeds from the farm’s People’s Choice Cider are going to the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance.
