This year’s Purbeck Arts Choir’s autumn concert showcases a packed programme of songs from a range of composers, including Fauré, Bach, Vaughan Williams and the choir’s musical director David Fawcett.
It will be David’s final concert with the choir, before John Watkins takes over the post in January.
The choir will be joined once again by the Junior Choir, who’ll be performing some pieces together with the main choir, and some on their own.

Join the choir
Purbeck Arts Choir is a mixed SATB choir of more than 50 singers who meet regularly to rehearse for two main performances each year.
The choir is always open to new members, with no audition necessary and two free sessions before you sign up.
- Rehearsals: Thursdays 7pm – 9pm during term time at St Mary’s School
- Cost: £100 for both autumn & spring terms, or £60 for one term, or to pay in two instalments
