Upcoming Events

Festival season continues: OCTOBER 2023

Enjoy live music in one of Swanage’s cosy pubs, settle down in front of a classic film at a unique venue and get creative with pumpkins in Purbeck this October.

  • The Paul Cook Blues Band on stage in 2021
  • Craft stalls outside The Mowlem Theatre & Cinema in Swanage
  • Pumpkins at Corfe Castle

After a jam-packed September featuring the Swanage Folk Festival, Purbeck Walx Festival and Planet Purbeck Festival, October welcomes the return of the ever-popular Swanage Blues Festival (5th – 8th Oct) and sees the Purbeck Film Festival enter its 28th year (20th Oct – 4th Nov).

There are also plenty of Halloween and pumpkin-themed days to enjoy this autumn, such as firm favourite the Pumpkin & Beer Festival at The Square & Compass pub in Worth Matravers (7th Oct), as well as children’s activity trails along Swanage Pier and at Durlston Country Park.
